Scottish biking trip

Having got the biking trip bug in Italy we decided to see what this country had to offer so we headed up to Scotland with some friends in Aug 2008.

We decided to stay in Blairgowrie as this was a good base point to go off on our bikes to the West, East and further up North across the 3 days.  We stayed in a lovely B&B http://www.glenshielinghouse.co.uk/

This was a great location for just wandering down into the town where we found a lovely Indian restaurant it was that nice we went twice http://www.the-sampan.com/

We had a great ride out to Braemar  http://braemarscotland.co.uk/ the Queen was in residence. Braemar is a lovely village

We rode through the Cairngorms magnificent views and roads

We drove down a lovely road along the river and passed a reservoir practically had the roads to ourselves

We had another nice run out to Stirling Castle and Fort William

a great holiday experience on the bike with great roads and scenery
