You can't beat a run down the North East coast

Taking in the likes of Saltburn for a stroll along the pier !

then onto Runswick Bay for a gorgeous scone and a coffee in the little cafe at the bottom of the hill

Runswick Bay is such a pretty place.  I love walking through the little cottages on the hill side

Next stop Whitby for a walk up the 199 steps !!

and a walk around the harbour !!

We ate in the lovely Thai restaurant across the road called Kam Thai http://kamthai.com/ lovely meal at a good price.  The Italian right outside the cottage also looked nice !! saving that for our next trip

After Whitby you can continue onto Scarborough to finish off the day

The Italian Gardens are also a nice place at the top of the South Cliff
