Australia - Perth & Sydney

Gary and I were lucky enough to be able to head down under in April 2014 for a month. We stayed with family in Western Australia (Perth) for 3 weeks which was amazing.  Then we moved to Sydney for 4 nights.

Northumberland - heart warming hospitality

Headed up North to Northumberland for my husbands 50th in August 2014.  The weather was lovely and the scenery was stunning.

Venice - the city of love

The Maldives & Dubai

We decided to push the boat out for our honeymoon and head off to the Maldives via Dubai in oct 2016.  We had a fantastic time in Dubai we stayed on the creek in the hotel Radison

The Lake District - our favourite place to stay

We love the Lakes there is no better place to be if you get the weather

Walking in the Lake District - Helvellyn

We have done lots of walking in the Lake District.

Walking in the Lake District - Haystacks

Another nice walk is Haystacks - this was one of Wainwright's favourite walks and I understand his ashes are spread at the top near the tarn

The views on the way up down to Buttermere are fantastic

Having got the biking trip bug in Italy we decided to see what this country had to offer so we headed up to Scotland with some friends in Aug 2008.

Biking in Europe

This has got to rank as one of our best trips. We travelled to the Italian Dolomites via France and Germany. There is no better way to travel
